Season of busy

I remember when our three children were 4, 2, and 1. It seemed as if we would never have time to sit again! To really rest. There were diapers, dishes, rocking, reading, cleaning up, laundry, and the list goes on! As much as we were overjoyed with our blessings, it was a struggle to find time to be still. I was working a great job at the time, but it took just that...time. Providing for your family can be difficult, but I wasn't afraid to work long hours to make it happen.

Of course, with the children now 14, 11, and 10...I realize how MUCH time we actually had. Three additional persons in our household with their own schedules and their own social scene. Isn't perspective funny?

It's no secret how much I love cooking and building this business, but at this season of life for me and my family...I realize how incredibly important time with them can be. I love the flexibility of what I do, and that OurChef can give time back to other families.
